Gwen Viles

Gwen (she/her) is the Undergraduate Academic Advisor in the Department of Anthropology, and she is always happy to meet to discuss academic or post-graduation plans. Prior to Pitt, Gwen was a member of Teach for America in the DC region where she taught 8th grade English, Reading, and Composition. She holds an M.S. Ed. from Johns Hopkins University, where her research focused on barriers to creativity in U.S. public school classrooms.
